Updating Web site content
Updated content is a great way to lure potential clients back to your site. Search engines regularly pay visits to Web sites; however, if they visit your site several times and don’t find any new information, they may decide not to come back — which adversely affects your search-engine rankings.
If you are not the most creative of writers, you might find yourself with a bad case of writer’s block when it comes time to edit your Web site’s contents.
Here’s a bit of fodder that might help you with your next edit:
- List new accreditations or licenses.
- Talk about new products or services or, at the very least, update your
price list. - Mention any changes to your business including new employees that
you might have recently hired. - Add a recent case study.
- Add a few client testimonials
- Write an informative article — and make sure that it contains lots of
your keywords. - Post your press releases.
